This plugin relies on Text (text.com), a third-party customer service and AI chatbot platform, to provide its core functionality.

Account connection

When you click “Connect to Text”, the plugin redirects your browser to Text’s account management API at https://api.text.com. The following data is sent as part of this request:

• WordPress admin email address
• WordPress site URL and admin URL
• PHP version, WordPress version, and plugin version
• WooCommerce version (if WooCommerce is active)

This data is used by Text to pre-fill your account setup and associate the plugin installation with your Text account.

Chat widget

Once connected, the plugin loads a JavaScript chat widget on your site’s frontend pages. This widget is served from Text’s CDN and enables real-time customer conversations. Visitor interaction data (such as chat messages and browsing context) is processed by Text’s servers as part of normal widget operation.
