Installation
From your WordPress dashboard
- Visit “Plugins > Add New”
- Search for “Exchange Rates”
- Activate “Exchange Rates” from your Plugins page.
- Add widgets on yourdomain.com/wp-admin/widgets.php page.
From WordPress.org
- Download “Exchange Rates”.
- Upload the “Exchange Rates” directory to your “/wp-content/plugins/” directory, using your favorite method (ftp, sftp, scp, etc…).
- Activate “Exchange Rates” from your Plugins page.
- Add widgets on yourdomain.com/wp-admin/widgets.php page.

The main data hub is the website CurrencyRate.
We are collect data from multiple data sources and store them on our server, https://api-bank.fex.to/. This plugin retrieve data one request per hour by WordPress Cron. Our public API don’t require any keys or passwords. Data providers, such as:

I use the plugin on my legal blog, and it operates stably without any complaints. The currency rates are updated every hour. Given the unstable dollar exchange rate in Ukraine, it’s very useful to have a plugin that displays the dollar-to-hryvnia exchange rate from the black market.
